Project Reality- глобальный мод для Battlefield 2. В только что вышедшей версии 1.3 не требует оригинальной игры для запуска.
По сути от Battlefield 2 в моде остался только сам движок.
Для мода всегда работают несколько серверов на 100 человек.

Основной упор в моде сделан на реализм и командную игру.
Убрана бОльшая часть интерфейса(миникарта, перекрестие прицела, счетчик патронов, полоска здоровья). Маркеры появляются только на союзниках с близкого расстояния.

В моде есть отряды, вступление в которые на многих серверах считается обязательным. Название отряда должно соответствовать его задачам. Определенная техника привязана соответствующим отрядам. (За порядком следят админы).
В игре около 17 классов. Чем больше людей в отряде, тем классов доступно его членам.
В мод встроена голосовая связь mumble, которая автоматически подключается к серверам игры.

Карты в моде довольно большые. До 4 кв км.
В моде 3 режима игры
-Assault and Secure (аналог конквеста. На некоторых серверах точки захватывать можно только в определенной последовательности.)  
-Insurgency (Регулярая армия против повстанцев/партизан итп. У регулярной армии есть бронетехника, лучше вооружение, но есть лимит подкреплений. У инсургентов же Хуже снаряжение, но бесконечные подкрепления. Задача Армии - уничтожить несколько складов с боеприпасами, изначальное местоположение которых неизвестно. Данные о складах появляются по мере убийств инсургентов регулярной армией.
-Skirmish- захват точек на небольших картах без бронетехники. (Обычно в этот режим играют, только когда на сервере мало народу).

В моде, хоть и есть захват точек(кроме Insurgency), но зонами спавна игроков они не являются.
Для спавна вне главной балы необходимо строить аванпосты. Для этого необходимо доставить к желаемому месту ящики с припасами. Потом командир отряда должен отдать приказ о строительстве. Затем те игроки, которые имеют в инвентаре саперные лопаты, должны нехитрыми действия построить аванпост. Также, в зависимости от карты и фракции можно строить баррикады и огневые точки.
В игре полтора десятка фракций. Все из которых максимально достоверно основаны на реальных, корме нескольких вымышленных фракций перекочевавших из оригинальной  Battlefield 2 (например, MEC).

In special cases or on asymmetrical layers respawn times may have different configs for balance.

2Green Eyes: Есть Coop сервера, где одна сторона конфликта состоит только из  ботов. Можно просто зайти на пустой сервер и играть против ботов одному (но с другими ботами на твоей стороне).

2Pooh: Можно. Техники полно. Хотя, есть режимы игры и карты, где техники нет или почти нет.

Техникой должны управлять одноименные отряды. Ну и всирание техники не приветствуется так, как потеря всяких танков довольно сильно ударяет по тикитам команды. Если тикиты(очки подкреплений) закончатся, то команда проиграет.

Но при этом, бронетехника может натворить делов, ибо количество РПГ у пехоты сильно ограничено, да и пользоваться ими не так и легко.

Тут можно вне клиента игры просмотреть все карты, расположение точек захвата, кол-во техники (конкретные названия техники, а не просто её тип) и время её спавна для каждой из сторон во всех режимах игры.
